Compilation of the Jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court of Mali now available online

The entire case law from 1995 to 2017 is now accessible on the Constitutional Court’s website

The first comprehensive Compilation of the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court of Mali is now accessible on the Constitutional Court of Mali website. The Collection contains all judgments, decisions and advisory opinions issued by the Court from 1995 to 2017.

The collection of the case law of the Malian Constitutional Court from 1995 to 2017 comprises six volumes and was prepared in order to enhance the knowledge of the Constitutional Court’s case law amongst lawyers and academics as well as citizens in Mali and beyond. It features the entire case law of the Court as well as statistical data and an index organised by keywords at the end of each volume.

The compilation has already attracted a lot of interest from Malian legal scholars and practitioners. The Constitutional Court of Mali also uses the Compilation as a basis for an in-depth analysis of their jurisprudence on specific thematic areas.

This publication is one of the outcomes of the collaboration of the Constitutional Court of Mali and the Foundation in the framework of the project funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (2017-2019). Works are currently underway to finalise the seventh volume of the Compilation (comprising the judgments of 2018-2019), again in close collaboration with the Scientific Committee of the Constitutional Court of Mali.
