Max Planck Foundation advises Hessen state government
The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities has been legally applicable for German state authorities since 2009. In this context, the Max Planck Foundation was requested by the Hessen Ministry for Social Affairs and Integration to clarify the federal state’s responsibilities which arise from the convention and to determine the legislative and harmonisation requirements by providing specialised legal consultation.
