In its first Annual Report, the Foundation introduces itself and presents an overview of its research and project activities

The Max Planck Foundation was founded in 2013 as a fully owned subsidiary of the Max Planck Society. The Foundation is carrying on the activities of the specialist Global Knowledge Transfer Working Group, which has been established at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law and has been working under the leadership of Emeritus Professor Rüdiger Wolfrum more than ten years ago.

The Foundation gives a review on the development of new structures during its inaugural year, including its projects based on countries, themes, and research, and provides an overview of activities planned for the future.
