Another meeting of the Joint Discussion Group on Law & Development took place at the premises of the Foundation on Thursday, 11 December 2014. Siddharth de Souza, German Chancellor Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, presented his ongoing research work on “Building an ‘Access to Justice Index’ for developing countries”. Amongst others, he examined the components of access to justice, reform measures in this regard and existing approaches to evaluation of access to justice.
