Foundation Establishes Basis for Cooperation in Mongolia

During a visit in Ulaanbaatar, initial talks with political, judicial, and academic representatives were conducted

Following-up on previous activities by employees of the foundation, the basis for new cooperation projects in Mongolia was laid. During the visit to Ulaanbaatar, discussions took place with the Speaker of Parliament, the Commission on Law and Economics, the legal adviser to the President, the Minister of Justice, and the Minister of Mining to jointly develop support and cooperation programs to strengthen the rule of law in Mongolia.

Additionally, cooperation is envisaged with the Attorney General’s Office, the Independent Anti-Corruption Authority, the Constitutional Court, the Bar Association, and the Academy of Sciences and the university’s Faculty of Law. During these discussions, diverse areas of possible collaboration, to be henceforth developed in a joint manner, were identified.
