A sneak peek into Volume 26 of the Max Planck Yearbook of United Nations Law

Now available online as an advance publication

Volume 26 of the Max Planck Yearbook of United Nations Law (UNYB) is set to be published in print by the end of the year. This edition will feature a special thematic forum on “The International Court of Justice at 75: an Assessment”, including therein articles and other contributions that relate to the work of the International Court of Justice, as a commemoration to the Court’s recently concluded 75th anniversary. The edition will also feature a few articles that pertain to the general editorial scope of the publication (i.e. the Law and Practise of the United Nations and Legal Issues Related to the Goals of the United Nations). Some of the articles featured in Volume 26 of the UNYB are now available online ahead of the full edition as advance publications and can be accessed here, via subscription. This includes topics such as an assessment of the ICJ from the viewpoint of UN Member States, examining the draft articles on the immunity of State Officials from foreign criminal jurisdiction, an empirical analysis of non-party participation in the ICJ, and others. For those who are interested, the abstracts of all the advance articles are freely accessible on the Brill website.
