The Foundation launches a new project in Chile

The project aims to support the constitutional reform process

The Max Planck Foundation had its first exploratory mission earlier this month. The main objective was to seek possibilities on how the Foundation can support the constitutional reform process. The Foundation met with various stakeholders – from government, the judiciary, constitutional law experts, academics and civil society.

The aim of these meetings was to see where the constitutional reform process is currently standing and to seek possibilities to constructively support this process if and when it starts. Initially, the intention is to provide comparative legal research on constitutional law. The project is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.
